Wood Species

Veneer is a fantastic material which is available in lots of different wood species. Today we calculate with that about 200 different wood species are processed to veneer in an industrial scale. There are a lot of advantages with veneer, except the warmth and beutiful characteristics, the main advantage is probably the environmental effect. From 1 log you could get about 1000 - 3000 m2, depending on the size and specie of the wood. That is an amazing yield which makes veneer very envioronmental friendly. The veneer industry also helps the forests to grow with continous new plantations. Fanerami only works with suppliers who have certificates from FSC or PEFC managed forests.

We have about 50 different species in stock. Fanerami is also the distributor and representative of Alpi in Sweden, we keep about 20 different Alpi-codes in stock at all time. For more information about Alpi veneers, please visit their homepage.
